Why we built SpotAI
Streaming platforms like Spotify and Deezer are increasingly flooded with AI-generated music. These tracks pollute playlists, Release Radar, and Discovery Weekly, making it harder to discover authentic, human-created music.
Over 6,000 users have voted on Spotify's community forum asking for the ability to mark and disable AI-generated songs. Despite this overwhelming demand, Spotify has only committed to "clearer AI disclosures in song credits" — but nothing that actually filters AI content from recommendations.
SpotAI is our answer. A simple, free app that automatically skips tracks from known AI-generated artists, giving you back control of your listening experience.
